Jim Henson to be Honored with Disney Legends Award

The Walt Disney company has announced that Jim Henson will be among the honorees named as official Disney Legends at the 2011 D23 Expo.  The Disney Legends awards are given annually to individuals whose talents and creative contributions have significantly impacted the Disney legacy.  The award ceremony will take place at the D23 Expo in the Anaheim Convention Center Arena on Friday, August 19.
