The Muppet Movie 30th Anniversary Screening & Muppets History 201 at BAM

This year marks the 30th Anniversary of The Muppet Movie, and the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) is hosting a special screening to commemorate this occasion on Tuesday, July 28.  The film will be preceded by a rare screening of Time Piece, Jim Henson's 1965 Academy Award-nominated experimental short film.

Also on July 28, BAM will be screening the new program Muppets History 201, an encore to Muppets History 101 which is a part of the Muppets, Music & Magic: Jim Henson's Legacy screening series.  Craig Shemin, Vice President of The Jim Henson Legacy, will be on hand to present this new program of rarely seen Muppet material.
