NATAS Reception Honoring Jim Henson, New York, NY
September 25, 2002 - An award for “Recognition for Outstanding Contributions to Television Arts and Sciences” was posthumously granted to Jim Henson for his work in television. The award was given at a reception hosted by Maury Povich, President of the New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, at the Muppet Townhouse. The evening featured a video presentation and special guests including Frank Oz and Kevin Clash.
