Tribute 21

November 14-15, 1994 - The Tribute 21 plates were created by Felissimo, a Japanese high-end retailer, to honor creative geniuses and visionaries whose work will live on in perpetuity. Along with fellow recipients, including Nelson Mandela, Toni Morrison, Al Gore, Carl Sagan, Steven Spielberg, and Mikhail Gorbachov, Jim Henson’s life work was recognized and a $10,000 grant was donated to a philanthropic organization of choice.
