Legacy visit to the Jim Henson Academy at Northwestern High School in Hyattsville, MD

On October 27th, Legacy Chairwoman Heather Henson visited Northwestern High School, home to the Jim Henson Academy of Performing and Visual Arts. She met program coordinator Sandra Atkinson and learned about all the ways students are given the opportunity to explore music, art and media at the highest level, supported by grants from The Jane Henson Foundation. Students from the school have performed at Henson-related events around the Washington, DC area.
