Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy go on exhibit at the Smithsonian Institution

A Kermit the Frog puppet that Jim Henson performed in the 1970s and a Missy Piggy puppet went on exhibit in the Entertainment Nation exhibit at the National Museum of American History in Washington, DC. As part of a regular rotation of puppets donated by the Henson family, their display expands on Jim’s story in the context of the history of American entertainment, replacing the 1955 Kermit and others from Sam and Friends.
