The Dark Crystal: The Tools of Thra virtual program

In connection with the Baltimore run of Imagination Unlimited: The Jim Henson Exhibition, the Maryland Center for History and Culture hosted an online program, Virtual Object Drive - The Dark Crystal: Tools of Thra. Museum educators Chloe and Abby Doran discussed props from Jim Henson’s 1982 feature film, The Dark Crystal, that were on display at the museum. They discussed the design and fabrication processes and then led a crafting session where viewers crafted along at home, making their own Dark Crystal inspired objects.
