The Great Muppet Caper screening at Museum of the Moving image
Legacy President Craig Shemin hosted a screening of Jim Henson’s feature film directorial debut, The Great Muppet Caper. More than 40 years since its premiere, the film continues to delight audiences with its Oscar-nominated music, surprising cameos, and virtuosic puppetry from the pre-digital era. After watching the film, visitors were able to see original costume designs and learn about the mind-blowing bicycle scene in the museum’s Henson gallery.
