Jim Henson is inducted into the Mississippi Arts and Entertainment Hall of Fame

On December 16, 2017, Cheryl Henson attended the ceremony marking the induction of Jim Henson into the Mississippi Arts and Entertainment Experience Hall of Fame in Meridian, MS and participated in their Walk of Fame tribute. The new museum, aka The MAX, which opened the following year includes a permanent kiosk celebrating Jim, and he is featured within their exhibit of Mississippi luminaries of the creative world. In 2019, the museum hosted Museum of the Moving Image’s Imagination Unlimited: The Jim Henson Exhibition and related events.
