Jim Henson's Fantastic World Concludes Its National Tour
The touring exhibit presented by The Jim Henson Legacy and The Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service finished its tour with an extended run at the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens, New York. Featuring original artwork, puppets, props, costumes, video and photography, the exhibit examined Jim Henson's creative process and his career, from his start in local television in 1955 through his feature film work in the 1980s.
Kicking off in 2007, the tour brought the exhibit to 13 cities in four years.
