The Jim Henson Legacy, Inc. (“JHL” or “we”, “us” or “our”) is strongly committed to protecting your privacy. JHL believes that maintaining your privacy on our web site (“Web Site”) is very important, and that informing you about the types of information we collect and how we use it is crucial.

Types of Information Collected

We do not collect any personally identifiable information about you—such as your name and postal or e-mail address—except when you knowingly and voluntarily provide it to us. For example, if you wish to join our mailing list, we will ask you for personally identifiable information, such as your name and e-mail address.

Certain individual users of the Web Site are current or former employees of JHL or have provided services for JHL and may be eligible for membership which will allow them to access certain “members only” areas of the Web Site. While this Web Site is not directed towards children or young people, we are particularly concerned about their privacy and any abuses of their privacy and believe that children should always have parental consent before providing any personal information.  Children or young people should not use this Web Site without parental consent. JHL does not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children on the Web Site and visitors to the Web Site twelve (12) years of age and under should remember that an adult must provide any personal information on their behalf.
